Many potential neurotoxins exist and are classified (1-7) as: 1) pharmaceutical agents, 2) biological agents, 3) radiation and electricity, 4) heavy metals, 5) solvents and vapors, 6) insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and rodenticides, 7) air pollution, 8) food additives, 9) social poisons. The reader is referred to sources of toxicology information available on the internet (6, 7).
